Herro! So, being unemployed sucks ass and is really depressing. I know, because I'm right there with you! So, i've been thinking of alternatives to get me out of the house and get my mind active. ADULT EDUCATION! It's super cheap and they have some really awesome classes out there! I was searching through the ones at the Orinda Community Center today and there are probably some near you too! Also, Berkeley extension has great ones...oh, this is if you don't end up going to Laney this semester. Also, I want to take a cooking class and learn to knit! Just things to rid me of my anxious mind and keep me off of my butt. :P

Maybe you could consider something like that?
